Yes, we don't allow anyone to be a part of the kennel club without actually being an active customer of Alpha Dog Nutrition. Simply put, we don't want anyone pushing our products on their clients without genuinely being believers themselves.
It's unfortunate that we even need to come out and say it, but there are a lot of brands out there (you probably know who we're talking about) that ask folks to blindly endorse them. They are just looking for exposure, and they simply don't care how they get it.
That's not our style. We do everything with integrity, and we expect the same out of our Kennel Club members.
Absolutely not. Going back to the integrity part of things, the health guarantee should come down to a successful, deliberate, and ethical part of your breeding program. Our products build upon that, but are not a replacement for it.
While we are aware that some brands encourage this, we will immediately dismiss any kennel club members from our program that legally requires their clients to purchase as part of any health guarantee.
There are a few different models that work well for our current kennel club members. They are:
- Sell product at your physical location (no online sales) - Our discounts leave you a wide enough margin for you to turn a healthy profit for sales to clients at your physical location.
- Bake the cost into your training program - Whether it is an upsell opportunity for clients that opt in or simply a service you offer across the board, a lot of kennel club members have had success going this route.
- Encourage clients to purchase via our lifetime affiliate program - After your clients bring their dogs home, you will have a unique discount code you can provide to them. Assuming they are a new customer to Alpha, you will earn commissions on every sale they ever make!
